Haley Johnson is a principled leader grounded in North Las Vegas and shaped by Nevada’s spirit of service. Guided by integrity and driven by connection, she brings clarity, compassion, and purpose to everything she leads — building systems that work and relationships that last.
With more than a decade of experience across public service, policy, education, logistics, and nonprofit leadership, Haley has seen Nevada from every angle — from classrooms to the State Legislature to trucking routes that connect our communities. Those experiences fuel her commitment to North Las Vegas: a city defined by hardworking families, proud diversity, and shared strength. In Assembly District 1, she’s turning those values into action — ensuring every North Las Vegas family has the opportunity to thrive.

A Life of Service.
Haley’s path has always been guided by service and shaped by story. She served on the Nevada Youth Legislature in high school, which led her to later work in the Nevada State Legislature, supporting the Senate during both the 78th and 79th legislative sessions. There, she learned that listening is the foundation of effective leadership.
Her journey has also taken her far beyond Nevada’s borders — always with the intention of bringing those lessons home. She has been a bilingual fifth-grade teacher in Honduras, a long-haul truck driver across 48 states, and a grounded organizer in Las Vegas. She’s listened to families at their kitchen tables and elders on front porches. She’s seen firsthand how systems can fail — and how they can transform.
Over the past decade, Haley has built a career spanning government, policy, nonprofit operations, education, logistics, and event leadership — always centering people in the process. Teaching showed her how consistency and care can change lives. Trucking revealed how rural and urban Nevada are connected — that our challenges are shared, and so is our excellence.
Born from a career that bridges government service, nonprofit leadership, and grassroots organizing, Haley brings over a decade of experience in public service, cultural exchange, wellness program development, and logistics coordination. From coordinating legislative sessions in Carson City to guiding trauma-informed wellness programs, her work is about making space — for people, for possibility, and for policy rooted in real human need.
