Drawing from her work in wellness program development and trauma-informed care, Haley believes in a holistic approach to public health — one that focuses on affordable access, prevention, and community well-being. From the State Legislature to nonprofit operations and logistics, Haley has seen how the economy works — and who it too often leaves behind. She will fight for union protections, stronger worker advocacy, fair wages, and workplace safety, building on the proud labor legacy of Assembly District 1. Having lived in communities from Elko, Carson City, to North Las Vegas, Haley understands that stable housing is the foundation of a strong community.
She will fight to prevent harmful gentrification and disinvestment that displace working-class and minority families and to protect renters and homeowners alike. Her focus is on affordable housing policies that treat housing as a human right while promoting responsible, community-driven development.

Water Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship

Haley believes that safeguarding Nevada’s natural resources is both an economic and moral responsibility. Protecting our water means protecting our future. She will champion conservation, equitable water access, and innovative regional planning, ensuring that growth across Southern Nevada remains sustainable for generations. Her approach balances infrastructure investment with environmental justice, recognizing that clean water and a healthy planet are essential to every community’s prosperity.

Mentorship, Juvenile Justice & Public Safety

Haley believes that real safety begins with belonging, opportunity, and prevention. Her vision for community safety includes community-policing models rooted in dignity and accountability, ensuring law enforcement and residents work together to keep neighborhoods safe. She supports youth mentorship programs, trauma-informed mental-health initiatives, and affordable access to rehabilitation services that focus on prevention and second chances. Haley also supports comprehensive criminal-justice reform — reducing recidivism, expanding reentry opportunities, and ensuring fairness within the system — so justice in Nevada is both accountable and humane.
